Wow, things have slowed down and sped up. Okay, only I have slowed down…everything else has drastically sped up.
Also, before I begin, my sister gave me crap for being a negative Nancy when I share pregnancy news – mostly because this round is much more uncomfortable. LOL I do try to find the humor in it, as seen in this video of me chasing Lila around from the POV of my belly:
But I also purposely made this post to let folks know that, overall, I am totally fine and dandy. Yes, I have my moments, but for the most part, in real life, I appear quite content. ๐
I went in for a weekly check up today (and last week) and all seems well. My doctor was proud of me for making it through the development of babies’ lungs. Now I just gotta make it three more weeks! November 13th!!
Non-pregnancy related goings on: This week is supremely busy! Lila and Daniel’s birthdays are back to back, the book fair is going on at work, Fall Carnival on Friday (also work related), and Lila’s birthday celebration on Saturday. All of these activities combined explains why my legs are like tree trunks! (Okay, that last sentence was pregnancy related.)
We celebrated Daniel’s birthday (10/22) with his family last week, and then over the weekend at Holler Brewing. I can’t wait to go back when I can have an actual drink – LOL. They did have nitro coffee that was quite enjoyable, though!

Do you want to know how I made those cake toppers?
- Upload a photo into Canva
- Add one of their free party hat graphics
- Save the image
- Drag a few into a word doc
- Print and cut out
- Glue onto toothpicks. The end. ๐

Since Lila’s birthday celebration is this coming Saturday, we did singing and presents the morning of her birthday (10/21), then hit up Chuck E Cheese with one of her school mates in the afternoon. It was so cute how excited she was to see and play with Cage, even though they had just spent the day together at school. ha!
I may have eaten half of a large cheese pizza….I mean have you *had* CEC pizza??? ๐

Back to pregnancy matters. Walking “long” distances is rough and I have to take breaks, but I can still do it! No bed rest – woohoo! The doc said I can work until it’s time to have my babies. I wish I had a recliner at work, because it would make sitting and standing/walking a lot easier, but whatcanyado.
I get out of breath pretty often, which makes people laugh. I can’t fit too much food into my belly in one sitting, but then I get hungry pretty quick after a meal.
The boys are moving like crazy. I guess they are running out of room. I can feel and see almost everything. It’s super creepy with two in there! Daniel and my mom got weirded out when they had their hands on my stomach. LOL It’s only uncomfortable sometimes. ๐

I know things will be good and different and hard, but I hope I can still find time to snuggle and be lazy with this goof. She’s the best and I want her to know that I will love her no matter how crazy things get.
xoxo
I always figured you must be doing pretty ok, otherwise you be so light hearted about all the bad stuff. I can’t say I totally understand how you feel, but I can relate to having a metal check of “okay one week down, if I went into labor it will be okay, only 3 more weeks to go” sort of view point. Your almost at the finish line and then you can happily welcome the new chaos. You’re doing a great job
Thanks! You figure right! Lol and itโs definitely a mental check as to how much time is left. Itโs starting to get freakier as I reach 2 weeks… :-O
