Six months ago, Lila turned two.
We love doing presents first thing in the morning, and it went over well with Lila. It was much different than opening presents with a one year old. She was unwrapping, pulling tissue out, and even had a surprised expression.
We celebrated Lila and Daniel’s birthdays with a meal at PF Changs – one of our favorites nearby. Their birthdays are consecutive. Both our families were there, which is a fun and rare occasion.
The following week we had a Moana themed birthday party for Lila
There were kiddos, friends, and lots of pizza. She loved her costume (see the last photo) and of course playing with all of her friends!
I had planned to bake a cake, but that didn’t happen, so we purchased a sheet cake from Sam’s Club (I love sheet cake). After scraping off the birthday balloon frosting, all I did was mix some blue food coloring into white frosting to try to create an ocean theme. Crushed graham crackers for the sand.
OMG! She has grown so much from even just these few months! It is crazy how much toddlers grow!
