sugar land holiday lights

My family and I were recently invited to check out the Sugar Land Holiday Lights at Constellation Field. I was so excited for Lila to experience her first serious Christmas light viewing – I didn’t even realize there were other cool activities.

First we walked around the field and checked out the installations. I was most interested in the giant Christmas tree in the center and the massive Texas flag! We got photos with those and continued on our merry way. The girls did great in the wagon. Lila even let our friends put a blanket over her – and she is adamant about kicking blankets off her at night.

Pints and Lights was going on so the guys did a beer tasting while the girls nibbled on some s’mores. Just when we were going to check out the carnival, a cold front literally blew through. The wind was nuts! So Lila and I pretended to hide from dinosaurs while we waited a few minutes to check out new areas. The playgrounds were too damp, but we had so much fun in the light maze, and then walking around Santa’s Village.

I can’t believe it’s taken me five years to visit the Sugar Land Holiday Lights but I’m so glad we did. The prices are extremely doable, parking is free, and there are spots to buy food and drink. We will definitely be back next year!
