It took me 10 months, but I finally started consistently working on a couple of my 2014 resolutions. Better late than never, right? ๐Ÿ™‚ Two of my goals included waking up earlier and walking the dogs more often. I am not a morning person, but for the last couple months, instead of rolling out of bed at 7am and barely making it to work on time, I’ve been getting up between 6 and 6:30. It’s been great and I have no idea what started the trend. I have time to make my coffee, take care of the dogs, walk them, get dressed, and do some sweeping – which is a bi-daily necessity around here! Who knows, maybe I’ll start getting up early enough to fit my work outs in the morning rather than evening. That would be perfect! The afternoons are a big stressor because I never feel like there’s enough time [cue the Jessi Spano pill popping freakout]. I guess this aging thing is getting to me! Going to sleep a bit earlier so that I can wake up a bit earlier is really paying off.

What were some of your goals? Did you stick to them? Maybe this year I’ll be able to stick the “maintain the weight loss” goal…hmm… ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Cute picture of your dog!
I think going to sleep early and waking up early is a major plus. I started doing this and the day does fit in more stuff to do ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. I definitely have to push myself to get up early everyday. It is so worth it! I'm still not a morning person, but with my coffee I have some me time to wake up first, it's nice. xx
