what i wore – custom eShakti dress

Sometimes I forget I am short. When you spend your life viewing the world from a certain eye-level, you just get used to it, ya know? Even though Daniel is over a foot taller than me, I don’t very rarely notice these things. Until I am shopping, and it’s like wearing my mom’s clothing as a toddler. [My mom is 4’9” – I have to rewind to being a toddler to remember when her clothes were “big.” HA]
I can easily spend an hour perusing an online shop, but once I am reviewing the items in my cart, I start wondering where things will hit me. Will this hem be extra long? Am I going to have to get it altered? Will these boots end up over my knees? And the waist line? Is it going to reach my butt?

When eShakti contacted me about featuring one of their custom dresses, I was more than excited. A dress that would actually fit me properly, without any alterations?? And you know what the best part is? I was able to change the length of the sleeves, too. Originally this dress had cap sleeves, but I requested short puff sleeves because sleeves are awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. I love that dress on you! It looks like super wrinkly fabric, though ๐Ÿ™
Adjustable length and sleeves is the best thing ever. Yay!
