A year or two ago, I had the privilege of meeting Sierra Bailey, owner and creator at Manic Trout. You might remember when I visited her studio last month. 🙂 Her pieces have always stood out to me. I love the asymmetrical nature of her designs, as well as the colors and materials. Of course what first hooked me is that she uses animals of all kinds [see: FOX] for her necklaces! I decided to go a different route for my custom piece, though. Something a bit…unexpected.
I was so excited when my little package arrived in the mail! Sierra’s packaging and branding are just perfect! She let me choose the stones, design, animal, and chain length – which anyone can do because she offers customization! The perfect necklace just for you. 🙂

After all was said and done, and because I was a Psych major [meta-cognition like whaaaat], I wondered what made me choose these
particular colors and little arachnid. Duh. I had just watched the new
SpiderMan with Daniel a few days before. It’s funny how the subconscious
works, eh? My spidey senses are tingling!
