children’s museum sans children [with yelp!]

Last Friday a few friends and I attended “Pley with Yelp” at the Children’s Museum. It was a 21+ event and a lot of fun! Maria and I explored and messed with different activities, taking silly photos all the while. The only other time I had been to the museum was during regular hours when it was loaded with kids and field trips and kids, so this was a very unique experience. ๐Ÿ™‚

They even added capes and masks to all of the figures outside!
As seen on Instagram

There was loads of food to sample, as well as sweets to taste, which was a bit overwhelming at first! Once I found the Saint Arnold’s booth and Katz’s Coffee…everything became much calmer. And the kid brewing made me a special drink! First time I’ve ever ordered a coffee and received a fun design in it! So pretty!

If you couldn’t tell, the museum’s summer theme has to do with super heroes! Dressing up was highly encouraged. I don’t own a super hero costume. My Hit Girl costume would’ve been fun, but I lost a lot of it’s pieces over the years. Plus, was she really a super hero? Anyway, I decided to sport some super hero attire – at least an attempt. ๐Ÿ™‚

Forever XXI SpiderMan crop top // Francesca’s pleather skirt // Shoemint boots // Cykochik clutch

Who is your favorite super hero? I’m kind of in love with Thor. ๐Ÿ˜‰
[[And the Doctor!!]]
