I’ve received less than 10 Stitch Fix boxes since learning about the service in 2012. I don’t schedule them every month, obviously, just around special occasions. The most special one being SUMMER. 🙂 Usually I will keep one or two items that I simply cannot part with…and wear them the same day! Like this outfit I wore last Friday night. 🙂
The package I received last week was so perfect for my upcoming summer plans! I just couldn’t return a single piece. It’s the first time I’ve kept everything. Somehow I went from keeping one or two articles of clothing to all of them, and I think I know why. After going through my style profile page and updating anything that may have changed, I also linked to my Pinterest page. I created a board titled “my style” where I pin outfit posts from my blog, or photos of items I would totally wear – and it worked! The note I received within the package even mentioned my Pinterest account. So many flowy tops, and these amazingly comfortable jeans! All 5 items of clothing that are perfect for my summer travels. Hooray!
Explanation in case you are unfamiliar with Stitch Fix: For $20 and a style profile that you fill out, a stylist chooses 5 items they think you might like [skirts, dresses, blouses, pants, jewelry]. You then pay for what you like and return the rest. Ta-da! And the items have consistently been high-quality so far. 🙂 If you want to schedule your own fix, make sure to link your Pinterest [and create a “my style” board] to give your stylist more of an idea of what you’re into!
