I completely forgot that love your pet day was Feb 20th! Coincidentally, the past few days I’ve spent a lot of time with my pets and my friends’ pets. 🙂
Sometimes you don’t realize what you’re missing until it appears in your life. An animal, for example. My parents take care of Buster because she keeps them company. She loves being the “only child” and my parents enjoy spoiling her. A friend of mine that lives alone relishes the companionship his dogs provide him. I never knew how much I’d enjoy cuddling with a kitten until this little sweet pea came into my life. I don’t need to go on for you to understand how much people can love their pets. Even though I missed the actual date, I’m going to smother my babes with a few extra kisses today, in honor of Love Your Pet day. 🙂
