A few of my friends are getting married this year. It gives me more reasons to leave town – but not much time for exploring [which I love!]. I guess we can sort of consider my experience in Grapevine, Texas a sort of exploration. My friend Caitlin, of Your Favorite Girlfriend, celebrated her bachelorette party last weekend! We stayed for a night at the Gaylord Texan Resort – definitely something new! The resort was it’s own little compound with a few restaurants, shops, and even a club. My friends and I stuck close together and it was a lot of fun – even the cheesy cover band at the Glass Cactus. 🙂
Bridezilla!!
The other day someone asked me why I have a camera tattooed on my leg. Instead of simply saying, “I like taking pictures,” I replied with, “I am obsessed with documenting life.” It just came out. The photo above is a great example. I love capturing those moments when nobody seems to be watching or aware…those are my favorite. 🙂

My boyfriend and I stayed there with my sister and brother and law once a couple of years ago and had a great time. We had dinner at a really nice restaurant there and it was sooooo good 🙂 Great photos! Looks like you had a blast and I like your response to the camera tattoo question 🙂

The Gaylord Texan is totally baller! I love it there. Fun fact: I used to work in a little store in downtown Grapevine when I was in college. They have an adorable old-timey Main Street, in case you didn't get a chance to go. PS you are precious!
