The person I had in mind is into fitness, and recently developed an interest in running. Music is a must while her feet are pounding the pavement, and I noticed a few ear buds on the trending page. Once in the store, I wandered around the audio and MP3 aisles for a while…there were quite a few options.
One of the main reasons I like to physically visit a store is so I can test and see the items in person. A pair of headphones might look awesome online, and maybe the reviews [or trending tweets!] about sound quality are great, but how will it fit over my giant mounds of hair? And how will those GPS watches I’ve been eyeballing fit over my tiny wrist? All valid questions that can be answered in-house. It doesn’t hurt that the employees themselves are really nice and helpful. 🙂
I ended up settling on the Powerbeats earbuds. There was a display of the different kinds of ear buds by Beats, but those are definitely the most activity friendly. And they’re definitely small enough to make a graet stocking stuffer! Luckily my birthday is next month because I might need to ask for a pair for myself. 🙂
