My absolute favorite month of the year is October. For me it marks the beginning of the “fun” months. Yes, I miss summer and freedom it brings [#teacherlife], but there’s just something about the Fall that immediately sparks holiday cheer. 🙂 Maybe it’s all the salted caramel hot chocolates or pumpkin flavored everythings, or the combined total of 3 weeks off…
November is halfway over! That means there is a slew of delicious food headed my way. 🙂 I am thankful for my wonderful parents, who provide me with a Cuban/American Thanksgiving meal each year. I am also thankful for my incredibly sweet co-workers, who all pitch in and help us set up a great luncheon with homemade goodies!
Obviously there isn’t a shortage of holiday food in my life, and I am lucky and so grateful. But I do want a delicious Thanksgiving tradition of my own.
So for Thanksgiving this year, I’ve decided to put myself in charge of beverages – of the fun variety!
#MyKindof Holiday 🙂
My parents don’t need me to bring another dish [my mother is a saint!], so I will be researching delicious holiday mixologies! And by “researching” I mean googling…and asking you. 🙂
I can chug down try out [hiccup] all the delicious drinks I want, but it’s all about the presentation. This includes choosing the most flattering glassware, like the pieces above from Target. Nothing says “this drinks is delicious and holiday themed” like a glass full of glitter and alcohol! 🙂

Hmm… I'm not good with drinks, but I do love some peppermint schnapps in hot cocoa! =]
I've been wanting to try this, it sounds delicious!
Apple Pie: Vanilla Vodka, Apple Cider, Ice and Cinnamon!
