I am a big fan of healthy snacks – especially in the form of a frozen fruit bar. And especially when the snack tastes this delicious!
This past weekend I had my last away game of the season with my roller derby team, the Knockouts. Before departing on our 3 hour drive, we had brunch at a friend’s house. Guess who brought dessert? 🙂
My teammates loved the Outshine Fruit Bars! And we felt 100% guilt-free eating these babies just a few hours before our final game. It was the perfect ending to our meal – a cool and tasty low-calorie, gluten-free snack made with real fruit. YUM!

When Daniel [Happy Birthday!!] found out I was sharing our fruit bars with my team, he made sure I saved some for him. We’ve been trying to adjust our diets on and off since our wedding back in May. Even with all of our working out, it’s been really hard finding a healthy snack that is consistently crave-worthy. Until now!

I bought a few extra Outshine bars for the house, and we’ve been killin’ ’em. My absolute favorite is the Creamy Coconut because of its subtle flavor and creamy texture. In a very close second, comes the Mango bars. Mango always takes me back to my Cuban roots. That rich tropical flavor gets me every time!
Good ol’ fashioned Daniel votes Strawberry all the way. But really, who can resist real strawberries in a frozen bar? Nom. We definitely found our preferred post-CrossFit snack. 🙂

If you are looking for a guilt-free snack to munch on between [or after] meals, Outshine Frozen Fruit Bars are where it’s at! Alright, enough chit chat…a Creamy Coconut is calling my name…possibly followed by a Mango, too…….and you think I’m kidding…
Keep up with Outshine’s seasonal flavors and all-around yummi-ness on Twitter and Facebook!
