The Neon Boneyard

The Neon Museum in Las Vegas was definitely one of my favorite activities. My sister and I attended the first evening tour, which began at twilight. As we walked around, and I took photo after photo [and tried so hard to listen to the tour guide!], it became increasingly darker out, and the signs became increasingly well lit.
Obviously, because it’s a graveyard of sorts, the actual signs are not in working order. BUT the museum has colored spotlights set up on a lot of the signs, making them appear to be lit and flashing.
Pretty cool stuff. ๐Ÿ™‚
The folks at the museum were so nice. I even bought myself a t-shirt. Love them.
If you are ever in Las Vegas and feel like doing something funky – sign up for a tour. Definitely worth it. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. That looks so amazing. We have some vintage in our downtownish area and I so wish someone would pull a Radiator Springs a la Cars and fix it all up. I can't imagine how awesome it'd be.
