Texas Style Council [round 2]

Last year I attended the Texas Style Council, a blogger conference in Austin, TX, for the first time. I met a lot of cool ladies, and saw most of them again this year. 🙂
I didn’t attend the Swap party in 2012, which I definitely regret now. I scored pretty big Friday night. 🙂
Saturday we broke out into different sessions. A few favorites I attended were Lifestyle Blogging 101, Monetization, Self-Photography 101, and Budgeting 101. The budgeting course was the absolute best! I am definitely a new Words of Williams follower. 🙂
After a few afternoon sessions, it was time to grab some grub and get ready for “Prom.”
I was pretty excited to wear my BHLDN rehearsal dinner dress again!
The night was such a blast! There were all kinds of vendors selling their wares, photobooths, promotions, contests, giveaways, DIYs… 🙂
I didn’t stay until the very end because I was pretty pooped from such a full day, but it was a great time.
Day 3 was full of awesomeness, too! Lots more sessions to attend.
One of my favorites was “Blog to Book.”
Megan and Becky both shared their stories about how they got published. Both of these ladies are incredibly funny and talented!
Definitely check them out:

Renee and I, headed home. 🙂
But that’s not all! My friends Louise and Stephen were kind enough to let me stay with them. Before finishing up the weekend, we attended a show at Austin 360. It was very chill. 🙂
What a beautiful, beautiful weekend.
If there is ever a blogger conference near you [and you are a blogger, or aspiring blogger], I highly recommend you connect with them. 🙂
