Last weekend was probably one of the most amazing weekends ever.
First of all, cookies with Kiki. YUM. She showed me how to frost them, which proved to require far too much patience. I will leave the edible art to her. 🙂
Daniel’s basketball team also won their first game that night. The guys played really well – and it was a nail-biting overtime. But I may or may not have been distracted by these little munchkins.
Afterwards I returned to Kiki’s for a bit, then headed home. Daniel asked me if I wanted to open my presents at midnight like I do at Christmas, and I agreed. We had a pretty busy weekend ahead of us, who knows when we’d be able to celebrate my 30th. Little did I know that one my presents involved a ring. 🙂
I did a pretty good job hiding it in pictures that next day. 🙂 Later that night I ended up announcing the engagement, via Instagram. [in true feisty fashion]
And then I won an award. “Best Jammer” on the Knockouts Pretty sweet, eh?
The party continued when my family and I actually celebrated my birthday the next day. But I’ll save that for later.
