When I Was a Teacher

Sometimes Most of the time, I miss being in the classroom. I still interact with students daily, but not to the extent of building those amazing relationships with my own group of kiddos.

Here are a couple videos I made while I was a 7th grade math teacher. They are in reverse order. This one I used as a lesson. I was filming in a drive through! No judging. 🙂 [2009]

This next video is actually from the previous school year. The students were kind of hilarious that year. It was *almost* the last day of school. And really silly. 🙂 [2008]

xoxo
p.s. I started this blog just before leaving the classroom. le sigh.

  1. I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a
pretty penny? I'm not very web savvy so I'm not
100% positive. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  2. I love this! I have a few friends who are teachers and I'm going to share this with them. You looked like you were a wonderful teacher, loved, appreciated and respected by your students. We need more teachers like that. One of the best memories I had of a fabulous teacher was in elementary school when our teacher wanted to show us something from "the real world" that we will need to know. She walked us students outside to her car, in the parking lot, lifted the hood and explained the different parts and then showed us how to change a tire. I will never forget that woman.
