Mary took me on what she calls a “2cent tour” – and I loved it!
Park – a cute little area with a few shops and a yummy yum cafe: The
Flying Biscuit. And her friend Michael took all the scenic routes – I admired all of the “Living Walls,” and different kinds of trees and leaves…I wish Houston had such beautiful colors! I wish we had a “fall.”
The first three photos are from Junkman’s Daughter. A really eclectic shop that had loads of gifts and clothing. The dressing room was pretty cool looking. These photos are shot from my phone, though. We weren’t sure how welcoming they’d be of my camera… ๐
Thanks so much to Mary for entertaining my for a few hours. I greatly appreciated it! The roller derby was amazing, but you can’t go to a city for a weekend and not sight-see at least a little. ๐
I still have my livejournal! As in I remember my password. I dont think I have written in it in about 7 years, haha.

Such a cute area! I would love to have brunch and to take a stroll there! As for LJ, I have a soft spot for it too – I feel like it is the early form of blogging for some, and I too have some great friends from LJ still to this day.
!!!! It was so much fun ๐ Glad you liked our little tour. I really like your pictures–I really like the one of Mikey in the store.
P.S. Why oh why am I pigeon-toed in that photo?! haha I wish I could say I did that to be blogger ironic :X
Ahh! Love ATL! My boyfriends best friend lives about 45 mins west and we were able to go down in March and visit. We didn't have a whole lot of time so most of it was spent at the Aquarium, High Art Museum, and Little 5 Points. Hopefully next time we'll have time to explore a little more, as long as the traffic doesn't kill me first. <3
How fun!
breakfast all day? all I need to hear. great photos
