What I Wore…around France

I decided not to look like SUCH a tourist during my trip to Paris, France. ๐Ÿ™‚
Dress: Modcloth;; Loafers: Geox

Packing at least 36 hours in advance was rather helpful in this regard. My usual routine occurs about 8 hours before my flight…and involves throwing things into my luggage that I could possibly where with other things.

Pants: Uncle’s shop;; Tank: Garage;; Top: H&M;; Sandals: Greece
Pants&top: Uncle’s shop;; Tank: Garage;; Sandals: Greece
*This* time though, things were different. A few dresses, two pairs of pants, and a variety of tops that matched. Oh, and about 3 pairs of shoes. Not including the pink mocs purchased while in Paris. ๐Ÿ™‚
Dress: Make it Good
Dress: Urban Outfitters;; Cardy: Uncle’s shop;; Flats: Aersoles

Top: H&M;; Pants: Uncle’s shop;; Shoes: Aerosoles

What’s What
by Aerosole is seriously my favorite work shoe. I own two pairs now. ๐Ÿ™‚
How do you normally pack for a trip? I always need some pointers!
P.S. I head home on Thursday. I miss my boo! And my pups!!

  1. I'm OCD and need to make a list of things I want to take with me. This usually takes place 4-5 days before. After narrowing down things I want to take vs. stuff I'll actually wear and/or how many outfits I can make, then I wash and pack 3 days beforehand. Leaving my toiletries and blow dryer/flat iron for last.

I am also notorious for forgetting to pack a hair brush so I own 5 hair brushes. Whoops!

  2. I tried to do the same thing while I was in Paris! But the cute shoes I brought ended up tearing up my feet! Ahhh c'est la vie!

PS I've been eyeing that dress at Urban Outfitters! It's so cute!

  3. Adorable! I love the new pink shoes! I think that I need to go through my entire closet and do an outfit arrangement. It would help my life.

  4. Love your outfits! I especially love the dress you got at Make It Good, it's so classy. Hope the trip was really wonderful!

  5. I hate packing (while loving to travel…), and often procrastinate, so things can get stressful. Ironically though, I love to read/look at packing posts on blogs like this one.
So this last trip, I tried to motivate myself by saying I would do a packing post too. This actually worked out really well for several reasons. A) I had things planned out about what to wear, including about layers and what what happening each day. Also, I laid the clothes out as an outfit. This meant I wasn't just seeing it in my head but actually seeing if it worked (I often will think something will work and later decide no, it doesn't. On trips that's hard.) B) I was all pumped to wear things because of the comments saying they were nice outfits. C) We were ready for photo shoots even while travelling!

  6. So happy pictures! ๐Ÿ™‚ And beautiful outfits! Packing is hard, I always pack way too many clothes, because I can never decide what I want to wear beforehand!
