La Durée, Paris

Although I’d be about 20 pounds heavier, I do miss the simplicity of a French breakfast.
Coffee, croissant, and orange juice. And I don’t even like orange juice. 🙂
A friend [and foodie/perez-hilton-of-sorts] of mine highly recommended this place. Their famous macarons were delicious!
But I will always be a chocolate kinda gal. 🙂
Day 5 was pretty low key. We walked around a LOT. And climbed plenty of stairs…but didn’t have any set plans until that evening when we did the Eiffel Tower night tour.
And thanks to everyone that helped me identify this fruit.
I really want to try them!
p.s. Today is the first day of school! Good luck everyone!

  1. Maaaaan I want ot go back to Paris! Yum, Laduree! SO GOOOOD.

& Paris breakfasts really are the best. At the hotel I stayed at, every night when we would come back into the hotel the man at the front desk asked what we would like to drink in the morning. Tea, hot chocolate, or coffee. I'm pretty sure the hot chocolat was just melted chocolate with a bit of milk. SO DAMN GOOD. And then all kinds of fresh croissants and breads… chocolate croissants… oh man… I'm hungry, ha.
