last year i went to renegade and it was awesome. there was even a marching band! and all the booths were so amazing!
this year was okay…..i participated as a vendor. it didn’t seem like there were as many people as when i came through as a customer…and no marching band ๐
i didn’t see too many rad displays either. BUT i still had a lot of fun ๐
maria and i shared a booth, and renee and josh were our neighbors [hooray!].
we were in the back corner, but i noticed that most of my purchases came from that area [even after i explored the rest of the place!], which means there was some pretty sweet stuff hidden away by us… ๐
i met a few blog friends – and sadly didn’t get photos with all of them. lame! i kinda forgot, even though my camera was slung over my shoulder most of the time.
i was walkin’ around with my “grr” headband and got a request for “meep.” it didn’t take too long at all ๐
from afar my banner looked pretty sweet. pay no attention to the crazy vertical lines…
maria’s paintings were amazing! there were so many, too!
my fave roboroku item..i love these rings so much!
the boys were amazing. they lifted, hauled, drove, and put together an amazing pvc pipe booth!
we appreciated their help greatly!
so i’m not sure i will do renegade next year. but i will definitely visit as a customer ๐
I agree. It didn't seem like as big a deal this year. I still really enjoyed shopping there and I'm glad I got to see your awesome booth! I think your sign turned out great!
How long did it take Maria to finish all those paintings??
Your little shop looked cute!
It is awesome that you were a vendor–even if it wasn't as good as last year. I went to my first Renegade last year and it seemed (and still does seem to me)like being a vendor there is a lofty goal to aspire to! And your sign is great!
I see no vertical lines in that awesome mustacheosaurus.
Oh, your table looks super-cute! ๐ I've been hoping that Renegade comes up to Canada so's I can enjoy it one day! lol. Til then – living vicariously through posts like these!
mEEp! mEEp! i love how you make letters!
yeah, i was disappointed with the lack of marching band and live music. ah well. everyone liked your sign, especially that one girl when you stepped out (she was talking about it the entire time yay).
@marci a few of them i already had from last year but I painted most of them a few months up until a couple days before the show!
Thanks y'all! I had a lot of fun with Maria. It was definitely a goal we aspired to ๐
