howdy!
i’m back in TEXAS.
[ironically enough, i got that fake cowGIRL hat in spain. haha]
the flight back to houston was MOST excellent.
i had scored daniel and i the last two seats on the plane so we didn’t have a third person next to us. it was grand! PLUS i had never flown with a little tv touch screen…where you can pick from like a million tv shows and movies to watch!
i almost pouted a bit when a child sat in front of me…but he ended up being a little cutie.
for all the dets on each city, make sure to hit up the travel blog i created for the group that gave me the grant!
here’s a quick recap: daniel and i flew to chania, greece for a creativity course we were taking. [we won a grant that enabled us to go.] from there we took a ferry to athens, flight to rome, train to vienna, train to venice for the connection to milan for the connection to barcelona. the italians were on strike – so we FLEW to barcelona the following morning. drove to calella, drove back to barcelona, then flew back to houston.
WOO.
my mom and sister picked us up from the airport – daniel and i were on the verge of passing out the whole ride home! we definitely crashed for a bit at my parents’.
i was greeted by three awesome giveaway wins!
my sister stole some items from my first package.

i’m planning a giveaway soon!
i’ve been gathering prizes [even brought one over from greece!].  i’ll have to wait until my return from miami, though.
off i travel again on the 20th! this time it’s with my sister and mother to visit our family 🙂
speaking of my family! i am extremely close with my cousins.
one of them has recently become engaged!
congrats to ely and javi 😀
alright, off i go to be productive. there’s about a month until i start back at work but so much work to do until then.
grr!
